and seventy three a Bill of Sale executed by
Peter Harris of Poughkeepsie precinct in Dutchess
County and in the Province of New York yeoman
To Isaac Hogeman in Rombouts Precinct – in the
County and province abovesaid Bearing Date the
Twentyenth Day of July anno Domini one thousand
seven Hundred & seventy one for Conveying unto the
said Isacc Hegeman for and in the Consideration of the
sum of One Hundred pounds New York Currancy
Viz One Negro Wench Named Jain Aged about
Thirteen years and one Negro Boy Named Ceafer
Aged about Eleven provided nonetheless that of the said
Peter Harris his Heirs Executors Administrators & assigns or
any of them do and shall Well and Truly pay or Cause to be
paid unto the said Isaac Hogeman his Heirs
Executors Administrators the sum of one Hundred pounds
principal with the lawfull interest of seven ____ per annum
from the sale of said Bill of sale until paid on or before
the first day of May this Next for the Redemption of the above
Bargained promises than the said Bill of Sale to be
Void and of None Effect otherwise to Remain in full
force & Virtue
