Amenia in dutchess county where she was brought by Burnet Mathison about a
mile from the federal store. her mother was a free mulatto woman as she has
been told. She remained in the family of said Matthison till she was 18 years
of age, at which time her contract expired, Mathison gave her two suits
clothes and a bed & bedding _ She came to Poughkeepsie in May(crossout)
