Joseph Nelson being duly sworn, Saith with respect to a black woman; says that a certain black woman who calls herself Phillis said to be upwards of Eighty years of age is infirm and subject to the palsy, and has no visible means of subsistence; he requests the board may take order in the premises, so that she receives support from the town or some other proper person, she being at his house and burthensome to his family.
